Artist Age:  Artist age is determined by how old the individual is on December 31. Age groups are: up to 7-years, 8-10 years, 11-14 years, 15-18 years, 19-60 years, 61 and up.

Multiple/Monthly Entries: There is no limits as to how many artworks an artist can be entered into the competition. Artwork entered monthly will automatically be entered into the annual competition. Only one entry per artist is considered in judging.

Judging:  Within each age group, judging is based equally on expression of the theme, ingenuity, creativity, use of color, use of space, strong focal point, originality, ability to reproduce in the stained glass medium, and overall creative quality. Three winners will be chosen from each age group, and one of these will be selected as Grand Prize Winner. In the case of a tie, a tiebreaker based on 'expression of theme' will be used to determine the winner. By entering, all entrants accept and agree to abide by and be bound by these official rules and the judge's decisions relating to this competition.

Deadline:  Entries must be received by December 31st of the competition year. Art Smart Challenge reserves the right to refuse any entries that require postage due or do not meet with the standards of the US Post Office. Entries received postmarked after December 31st will automatically be placed in the next year's competition.
