Expressive Painting Workshop

Learn to make a painting in less than one hour expressing how you feel about your world. We make it easy to grab a brush and paint just for fun! All levels of talent are accepted. Everyone is a success and gets a Certificate of Participation.

 

The creative process is about getting started with a oversized brush and lots of color. It is about sharing time with family and friends or listening to yourself breath. Take time and learn something new.

The workshop begins with learning about the materials and techniques of making a stained glass window. We give you the facts about the glass, color and line to make your drawing look authentic. Workshop fee includes a glass cutting demonstration, a "how to" overview of the stained glass process, studio tour at Tulsa Stained Glass and as an extra bonus, entering one of your paintings/drawings into the competition; Art Smart Challenge-Oklahoma at the Tulsa State Fair.

Fee: $10 per person includes three paintings 11x17 inches.

Stained Glass for Beginners

Learn to make stained glass windows from the professionals at Tulsa Stained Glass and can become part of the construction crew at the Tulsa State Fair. The Oklahoma grand prize winner's artwork of Art Smart Challenge-Oklahoma will be turned into a stained glass window at the fair. Classes begin Aug 5, Thursdays, 7 to 9:30pm for eight weeks. Class fee $175 plus materials and includes use of tools and text. For adults only.
